BRIEF DESCRIPTIONS

Pressure reducing desuperheater control system is suitable for middle pressure and temperature reduction purpose, basically, its design pressure is <10.0 MPa, design temperature is < 570 DegreeC, steam flow range is from 10% to 100%.

Pressure reducing desuperheater control system adopted with more flexible casting body of PRV with pilot plug design which gives higher stability and controlling performance during continuous operation under high pressure and temperature, which is widely used power plant, heating supply, chemical industries and other locations where the desuperheating steam needs.

HP Steam Pressure Reducing Valve

LY943/643Y cage-guided pressure reducing valve is a pressure balancing control valve especially designed for WY601/602 PRDS.

The maximal size of LY943Y can be reached DN600, which is able to used for bigger flow rate needs and gives the higher adjusting range and precise controlling under maximal flows conditions.

For the trim design, the cage guided construction with balancing features provides the valves that meet low noise and anti-cavitation requirements.

Venturi Concept and Multiple Nozzle

Cooling water flow is controlled by a feed water control valve which responds to changes received from temperature controller or temperature control system. The water then passed through the main tube of desuperheater to the spray nozzle and discharges into header as a fine spray. By controlling the flow through the spray nozzles and maintaining proper header velocities, good reliable temperature is obtained.

Feed Water Control Valve

The desuperheaters reduce steam temperatures by introducing cooling water directly into the hot steam. After sufficient time, all of the liquid is vaporized, resulting in final Feed water control valve is one of the most important control components of the feed water line, it controls the supply of feed water to the nozzles, the commonsense is the high performance of feed water control valve with accurate flow and pressure controlling is the priority concern for the operation of desuperheater.
